Dr. Zak Polonus is a highly trained and compassionate dentist who brings advanced clinical expertise and a patient-centered approach to every aspect of care. A proud graduate of the University of Southern California (USC), Dr. Polonus completed his undergraduate, master’s, and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degrees at USC, demonstrating his deep commitment to academic excellence and advanced dental education.
Following dental school, Dr. Polonus further refined his skills by completing a General Practice Residency (GPR) at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). During his residency, he gained extensive hands-on experience managing a wide range of complex dental cases. His training included high volumes of dental implant placement, restorative dentistry, oral surgery, and sedation dentistry, giving him a comprehensive foundation in both routine and advanced procedures.
In addition to his surgical and restorative expertise, Dr. Polonus pursued specialized training through the American Academy of Facial Aesthetics (AAFE). He has completed advanced coursework in Botox therapy, dermal fillers, and TMJ pain trigger-point therapy, allowing him to provide patients with both dental and facial aesthetic solutions for a complete smile and overall well-being.
